The Muhabura University mission is to educate and train students who seek to give back to Rwanda and be a light to all of Africa. Private citizens’ donations, peer-to-peer sponsorship groups, government loans and grants are all available to make this education a reality for qualified students. All sources of sponsorship for students are granted in the form of a student loan. Once students graduate they begin to pay back the loan and thereby help sponsor the next students at Muhabura. It is estimated that every dollar given to Muhabura University Loan Program will be a dollar loaned, and re-loaned, three times to three different students.

Students seeking a loan to attend Muhabura University must first complete the application for admittance to the University. An application for Student Loan will follow.

Student Loan Programs

Many students attending Muhabura will do so by successful application to the Student Loan Program. Loans are granted on an as needed and annual basis. Proof of a students need for such loans is required.

Government Loans and Grants

The Rwandan Government has various programs to help Secondary School Graduates and Government Workers with their pursuits in higher education. Application for a student loan will address the potential for such government-sponsored loans.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available on a limited basis and are based on academic performance and need.
